How Sleep Helps You Look Your Best

Too much caffeine, an uncomfortable mattress, or whatever affects your sleep time can make the most beautiful among us to start the day looking pretty wrecked. Happily, the opposite is just as true.

After a good night of sleep you will reap some aesthetic benefits like looking more energetic and youthful.

This is why good sleeping is essential for helping you to look your best.

No Sleep is a Bad for your appearance

When you venture off into dreamland each night your body goes into repair mode and that includes your skin, which grows fresh new cells to replace the old ones. But when you miss out on sleep you end up looking sort of saggy, and wrinkled.

The lack of sleep causes those unhealthy circles under your eyes.

Too little shuteye leaves you feeling stressed and unable to focus. Not exactly a picture of refreshed, energetic gorgeousness, right?

How good Sleep can boost my look?

  • When we sleep, our bodies pump out human growth hormones that help stimulate the production of collagen which is basically like a free version of an anti-aging cream.
  • Old skin cells can deaden your complexion. But when you sleep, those old cells get replaced with fresh new ones.
  • When you sleep well your hair is more likely to be strong and shiny and your nails less likely to be get brittle or crack.
  • Your eyes will look bright and awake.
  • You’ll be more likely to maintain a healthy weight.
  • A friendly smile really is everyone’s best accessory. But when you don’t sleep well you’re a lot less likely to be smiling the hole time.

Getting the Beauty Sleep You Need

The experts recommend getting eight slumber hours per night  to look your best.

Sleeping more than eight hours will boost my beauty?

Nope. Surprisingly, sleeping too much can actually increase the breakdown of skin cells. The most important is to make sure that you get a good quality sleep by minimizing disruptions and distractions. And if you’re a light sleeper, be proactive. Wear earplugs if you live in a noisy neighborhood, and block out light with blackout shades or an eye mask.
